What is the difference between Botox and Jeuveau?
Both are FDA-approved neuromodulators made from purified botulinum toxin type A, and both work by temporarily relaxing targeted muscles. Botox has the longest track record; Jeuveau was developed specifically for aesthetic use and is often priced lower per unit. Your injector will help you decide which is right for you.
How many units will I need?
It depends on the area and the strength of your muscles. Forehead lines often take 8–20 units, frown lines (the “11s”) 15–25 units, and crow’s feet 8–12 units per side. You’ll receive an exact recommendation and price before anything is injected.
Does it hurt?
Discomfort is minimal and brief. We use ultra-fine needles and can apply a cooling device on request. Most appointments are finished in under 20 minutes.
What should I avoid after treatment?
For the first 24 hours, skip strenuous exercise, saunas and facials, and avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area. Stay upright for four hours. Makeup can usually be applied the same day.
When will I see results, and how long do they last?
Early softening appears in 3–5 days with full results at around 14 days. Results typically last three to four months; with consistent treatment, many guests find their results last longer.
Who should not receive neuromodulators?
Treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with certain neuromuscular conditions. Your provider will review your health history in detail at your consultation.
